Good news that we’re still going. Do we get our six eggs in about what stats we’re going to use in future – I seem to remember saying I’d be doing a flounce if we don’t get rid of the dominance of wins in pitcher stats and nobody wants that …. do they?

Well I seem to have found my way to the Forum…always enjoyed the mornings filling in my book with the scores as ItchyRow who became NoItchyRow when he retired 😎

the auto scoring system certainly speeds things up…but buying who you wanted was always great and I’m assuming it’s a Snake Draft so when they are gone they are gone!!

I’ve been on this site since the very first year.  Couldn’t play last year because I had Long Covid.  And it looks like I’ll be on the sidelines this season, too, because I’m still too mentally fuzzy to figure out the new process.   But I’ll be cheering everyone on from the sidelines.

Hi @zydny – so pleased to see your message but sorry to hear of your illness.  I hadn’t got a clue how to play the Yahoo game but let the Auto Draft choose my team (which I will again this year) then got the hang of it as we went along.  Even if you never change the team you are allocated it adds interest to the baseball season.  Although I missed playing in the old UK format as it was all I knew, and was very daunted by the Yahoo site at first, I found it was very easy to check on your team and read daily news on each player.  If you don’t play, it will still be good to hear from you on the forums.  Take care.

Jane, like you I was nervous of the draft last year and right up until it started I planned to auto draft. However I went for it and it was great fun! I think I fluked a few good picks I wouldn’t have had on auto, plus if you’ve got a feeling about a fringe player, then go for it. Do a bit of research up front and trust your judgement  😉

Been playing on the old FBUK since it’s inception…..will be entering 2 teams i.e the Main league and Limited Trade league as “Secret Agents” and “Jose Abreu Bombers”

Hi @redbaron-07, as you registered for the Limited Trade Game, you should have received an email with an invitation link for it on 14 March (like for the main game but a separate email). If you are not seeing it, perhaps it went into your junk mail folder?

It looks like the Yahoo leagues are still setup for last seasons 60 Games, they are showing a max of 67 games per position – can that be looked at?

Thanks Tim……I got it. Did not read the email header properly, as I thought it was duplicate of the Main league invitation. I have set up the team!  🙂

That is a test to see who is paying attention!  😉 Got it on the action list to update Games Played and Innings Pitched limits for each division before the season starts.
