      Good news that we’re still going. Do we get our six eggs in about what stats we’re going to use in future – I seem to remember saying I’d be doing a flounce if we don’t get rid of the dominance of wins in pitcher stats and nobody wants that …. do they?

        Hi baz

        Won’t the scoring system be the yahoo scoring system so fbuk won’t be able to change it? I’m not an admin for this site but I would guess that is how it will work.

        do you know when draft will be?

          Hi! Well done for being the first members to post! Hopefully, gradually it won’t just be  tumbleweed and the sound of whistling wind blowing through the empty new forums.

          Baz, I do remember you saying that. The Yahoo system is quite flexible in terms of what stats the league awards points for, and how many points. The weighting towards pitcher wins is on the list of things to try to get consensus on from FBUK managers heading into this season.

          I’ll need to remind myself what other pitching stats Yahoo makes available for scoring, but are there any suggestions on what other stats could be used?

              Hi all, glad we are still going.  The Yahoo FB page says that they are changing the scoring to even up pitching and hitting so maybe more even this year.

                    Hi everyone – so pleased we are up and running again.  I will miss playing the game the old way but was just starting to get the hang of the Yahoo game by the time it finished last year so looking forward to having another go.  Let’s hope the MLB season is able to start on time and run safely this year.

                                We use the points system so fantasy teams simply build up points over the course of the season. The How to Play page provides a guide to how it worked last year.

                                  I’ll will be in for this. I haven’t played the FBUK much for the last 10 years but after struggling to attract enough people to our former roto league this sounds like it could be just the thing.
